We strongly encourage the use of public transport as we are a short easy walk from Britomart where you will find rail, bus and ferry connections. Check out the Auckland Transport's Journey Planner and Auckland Transport's Spark Arena Event Info pages.

The best place to drop off passengers is by our footbridge on Quay Street. View our handy map with directions.

Sometimes roadworks and motorway closures take place in the late evening around the time our events finish. We suggest you check the NZ Transport Agency's list of motorway closures before the event so you're forewarned and can plan your driving route to and from the event as needed.

If you need more accessible parking please contact our customer services team at info@sparkarena.co.nz or on 09 358 1250 at least seven days before your event's date.

Tickets for the ceremony will be mobile tickets, accessed through the Ticketmaster App or by opening Ticketmaster.co.nz using your mobile browser.

Entry B is our mobility access entrance, and is close to the inside elevator. Please ask our staff if you require any assistance and they will be happy to help.
Entries D and E are for if you have tickets for the reserved seating in the bowl of the Arena. Please refer to your Ticketmaster ticket to find your seat details.
Entries C, F and G are the for graduands to enter, ready for their ceremony.

The Ticketmaster box office, located next to Entry B, will be open from 8:00am should you require any assistance

CAMERA POLICY+

CAMERA POLICY

You may bring a small, pocket-sized, digital or instamatic camera to the event.

Sound recording devices, video cameras including GoPro's and all cameras with a detachable lens will not be allowed into the venue and no professional photography, audio or video recording of the event (professional or amateur) will be permitted.

Please also leave iPads and other large tablets/devices at home - the light from these screens is an annoying distraction to those around and behind you. No selfie sticks for the same reason!

Basically, if your camera is a point and shoot that fits into your jeans pocket, you will be fine.

Food & Drinks

You will not be allowed to bring any homemade food or food purchased outside of the Arena with you into the ceremony.

You will find drinks available to purchase on the ground floor inside the arena. Food in the arena foyers will include ‘grab & go’ options that you can take into the ceremony. Free water coolers are also available around the arena. Empty reusable drink bottles may be brought into the event, but please avoid bringing single use plastic bottles.

All of our beverage and hot food serveware is compostable. Find more info on our zero waste strategy here.

EVENTS IN ALERT LEVEL 1+

EVENTS IN ALERT LEVEL 1

While things are nearly back to normal in Alert Level 1, there are some precautions we are taking to reduce the risks for our audience, staff and event crew. We'll be working hard to make sure these are as unobtrusive as possible so you can escape from it all for a few hours at our place.

If you're not feeling well please play it safe; stay home and rest up rather than attending the show. Send us an email to info@sparkarena.co.nz prior to the event to discuss your ticket/s in this scenario.
Physical distancing is still important, particularly when you're queuing. We've put down ground markers to make it easy for you to maintain a 1m distance between groups.
Hand sanitiser will be available. We will have hand sanitiser available at many points throughout the venue for you to make use of as you feel is appropriate.
While youre waiting to enter the venue youll be asked to check in using the govt COVID Tracer app. Speed up your check in process by downloading the app now. Arrive early to avoid the queues!
Whilst we hate to think we ever ran an unclean venue We are stepping up our frequency of cleaning as we know that this can only help in reducing any transfer of germs.
