Kendrick Lamar is an all ages event but alcohol will be available to purchase at our bars by over 18s in possession of an acceptable form of ID. Acceptable forms of ID are valid NZ or International Passports, NZ Driver Licence or HANZ/Hospitality NZ 18+ Card.
The law of the land states that if you arrive at the arena "intoxicated" we cant let you in. If you are intoxicated whilst at an event in the arena, then the law says you have to leave. In the exact words of the law "the licensee or a manager of any licensed premises who allows an intoxicated person to be or remain on the licensed premises commits an offence". Neither us, nor the promoter want to send you packing, so help us out and ease off the booze.
Whatever personal views we might all hold, many substances are illegal in NZ, and they are no more legal in Spark Arena than they are outside. Anyone found with any illegal substances on them, will be ejected from the event and handed over to the Police.
The city bylaws are that no alcohol is to be consumed on the streets within Auckland CBD, and this law is strictly enforced by the Auckland police.
There are free water stations throughout the venue, so make sure you take the time to stay hydrated!
