This is an all ages event but alcohol will be available to purchase at our bars by over 18s in possession of an acceptable form of ID. To support this, please bring valid ID if you plan to buy or consume alcohol, as you will need to show your ID in exchange for an R18 wristband to be served more swiftly at the bar. Acceptable forms of ID are valid NZ or International Passports, NZ Driver Licence, or HANZ/Hosipitality NZ 18+ Card.
If you are deemed to be "intoxicated" on our premises, we are required to ask you to leave. Furthermore, the laws also state that if we have drunk customers on the premises, our liquor licence is likely to be removed. The rules go on to define "Intoxicated" and the criteria used are impaired coordination, behaviour, speech and affected appearance. So clearly, in the eyes of the law, even a "little bit drunk" is not okay!
We are not here to spoil your fun, but have to take our responsibility as licensees very seriously, so please be aware that if you are found to be breaking any of these conditions, you will be given a warning, and may be asked to leave without refund.
