Live Nation is excited to announce the return of multi-platinum musician Jack Johnson, who brings his SURFILMUSIC tour to New Zealand this coming November. For the very first time, Jack will be joined by both Ben Harper and John Butler, special guests who will be performing solo and acoustic. This one of a kind 3 act line-up delivers what promises to be a series of unforgettable evenings of live music.

The SURFILMUSIC tour marks Johnson’s long-awaited return to the road since 2022 and will celebrate a new era of music, film, and environmental connection rooted in his chart-topping catalogue, spanning over twenty years.

Once again Jack will be hitting the stage with his long-time bandmates Adam Topol, Merlo Podlewski and Zach Gill, and fans can expect to hear plenty of classic Jack including ‘Better Together’, ‘Flake’, ‘Inaudible Melodies’, ‘Taylor’ and ‘Sitting, Waiting, Wishing’. New music will also feature tracks from the forthcoming ‘SURFILMUSIC’ soundtrack, which is scored by Jack Johnson and Hermanos Gutiérrez, and is set for world-wide release on Friday May 15.

‘SURFILMUSIC’, a documentary chronicling Johnson’s evolution from surfer to filmmaker to world-renowned musician, from his youth on the north shore of Hawaii through the making of his iconic surf films ‘Thicker Than Water’ (1999) and ‘The September Sessions’ (2000), to the beginning of his music career. Those classic surf films revealed Johnson’s artistic point of view through his lens and guitar, ultimately launching his music career.

Stay tuned for more details on New Zealand screenings of ‘SURFILMUSIC’ and the iconic surf films.
