Spark Arena is thrilled to become a KultureCity Certified Sensory Inclusive Venue!

At Spark Arena, accessibility is one of our top priorities. We want to ensure that all visitors at our venue feel welcome and supported and leave having had an enjoyable experience.

Sensory issues can affect all kinds of people, in all age groups, including but not limited to those with PTSD, early onset dementia, anxiety and stroke patients.

Sensory bags are designed to help support and make individuals with sensory sensitivities more comfortable in a stimulating environment. 

How does this work?

Spark Arena has a number of sensory bags that are available for hire for the duration of the event you are attending. You can hire out a sensory bag from Internal Cloaking, located inside Entry B. Internal cloaking is identified by yellow arrow and the Information symbol on the map below.

The hiring of a sensory bag is free of charge, however any who wish to hire a bag will need to complete a hiring agreement and provide collateral - this can be in the form of a drivers license, keys, bank card etc. - for internal cloaking to hold onto until the bag is returned at the end of the event.

Any missing items from the sensory bag will incur a $10 charge per missing item.

Sensory Bags Hire Agreement & Terms and Conditions

1. Use of the Sensory Bag
   The sensory bag is available for use for the duration of the event only. It must be returned to the Bag Check table located inside Entry B before leaving the venue.

2. Return of Contents
   The sensory bag must be returned with all items that were originally included. A replacement fee of $10.00 per missing item will be charged if any contents are not returned.

3. Collateral Requirement
   To hire a sensory bag, a form of collateral (such as a Driver License, Bank Card, Keys, or another approved form of identification) must be provided. This collateral will be securely held by Spark Arena staff and returned once the sensory bag has been returned in full.

4. Care of Equipment
   Hirers are responsible for taking reasonable care of the sensory bag and its contents while they are in their possession. Please avoid unnecessary damage or misuse.

5. Damaged or Lost Items
   Spark Arena reserves the right to charge for items that are lost, stolen, or damaged beyond normal wear and tear.
